Arun Kapur
Arun Kapur is Director, Vasant Valley School. He has a considerable reputation as an outstanding educationist. With over 32 years of expertise in education, he has been actively engaged in building learning environments catering to a diverse group of learners — rural, urban, students with Special Needs and educating students who have fallen outside the formal schooling system. He contributes in multiple forums on education planning. His acclaimed book, Improving Schools-Empowering Children outlines the importance of a child-centered, dynamic approach to creating a great school.

Vijay Kumar
His last assignment was as the Senior Vice President leading the International Business and then the International Government Business at NIIT Ltd, based out of their Headquarters at Delhi.He has worked with organizations like HCL, ITC, NIIT in his two decades with the services sector of which his international business exposure has been for over 15 years, with the government sector, international markets for the services and the adoption of new business models for emerging markets. Has started operations in over 15 new countries and managed businesses in over 40 countries.Was on the eGovernance committee with CII –West in 2003-2004. Has been on multiple delegations with the India Government to other countries. Has been a member of the Indo-Malaysia Strategic committee facilitated by CII. He has presented papers on the Services, doing businesses in new markets etc.
Head Academics
Nityakalyani Ramasubramaniam
Nityakalyani Ramasubramaniam was ICT Educator at Vasant Valley School, New Delhi, from 1994 to 2010, and Head of the Department of ICT till 2005. From 2000 to 2002 she was part of the Founding Team of Learn Today as an Advisor. During this period she was involved in designing web based learning and testing programmes for senior school students. At Vasant Valley School she has taken on a wide spectrum of roles and responsibilities - curriculum development for integrating ICT across all domain areas using Multiple Intelligence Theory, development of Internal School Management Processes including the teacher appraisal system, the excellence awards systems among many others. She also was part of the team that developed a methodology for School Performance Evaluation and was responsible for the annual School Performance Analysis from 2003 till 2010. Her presentation of the annual report on the school performance was the start of the new academic year. She is closely involved in the development and design of the school Educational Resource Planning and Management Systems. She also implemented the Vasant Valley Knowledge Centre which is a Knowledge Base on the SharePoint platform. She has conducted many Workshops and Training Programs on implementing ICT solutions in Education, including several in-house workshops at different competency levels for teachers: Technology Based Learning Models and Methods; Using Technology to Empower Differently Abled Students and Using Freeware as a Learning Tool for Middle School Students. She has presented papers and presentations at various conferences and workshops - Global Classmates Workshop held at Seattle, USA in 2003: "Framework for the Design of a Global Classroom Programme", NIIT Seminar on New Practices in IT Assisted Education, Delhi: "Using Technology to Learn vs. Learning to Use Technology", NIIT Seminar on New Practices in IT Assisted Education, Bangalore: "Sharing Knowledge through Lesson Planning". From 2006 to 2007 she assisted the Director of Vasant Valley School, Arun Kapur, in putting together his book “Transforming Schools Empowering Children”, and from 2010 to 2011 she assisted him in putting together his book “Leading Out”.

Dilreen Kaur
Dilreen Kaur received her MA in English in 1994, and was awarded an M. Phil with honors in 1996. Her thesis focused on two prominent female fiction writers, Margaret Atwood and Rama Mehta. She has written several papers on sexual politics and post-colonial studies in literary journals. She has over fourteen years of experience in publishing, pedagogy, and the non-profit sector.
She has worked as an Editor with Oxford University Press (OUP) from 1996 till 1999, where she was responsible for developing the Humanities and Social Sciences list. Her work focused on gender, sexuality, education and culture. In 2000 she joined the learning division of the India Today Group where she played a key role in setting up a unit for publishing and printing affordable texts for classrooms. She has designed effective professional development programs for practitioners in government and private schools across the country. She has also been engaged in developing School Improvement programs aimed at rejuvenating and improving the quality of learning and teaching in the government schooling systems in Rajasthan and Delhi. Simultaneously she has been involved with the non-profit sector designing curriculum, training School Heads and teachers on Life Skills, gender and sexuality issues, compassionate communication, and best practices in education. With the coming of the Right to Education Act (2010), she is actively involved in designing and developing projects to address issues of enrolment and retention in schools in the National Capital Region.

Sudarshan Khanna
Professor Sudarshan Khanna was the Chairman of Education & Research & Principal Designer at the National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad, India. He helped establish several new courses and programs, including the Post Graduate Program in Toy Design & Development at NID. He was member of NID's Governing Council and policy planning-management.
Prof. Khanna has authored three books and many articles on toy design, culture and creative education. And he has been an expert invitee for education & design at institutions in India, South America, Europe, and Scandinavia and is the past president of ITRA. He was conferred DST's National Award for his work for young people. He has been conducting workshops for teachers/trainers relating value of design methods and creativity as part of the innovative learning process.

Vagish K Jha
Vagish K Jha is an academic with multi-faceted interests in creative fields. Trained as a Historian in Jawaharlal Nehru University, he has a long association with academic and research institutions like UGC, IGNOU and Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML) in content development and presentation as well as dissemination at national and international levels. He has over two decades of experience in different aspects of Film, radio, and theatre with a keen interest in the use of the creative media for social and educational purposes. He has been associated with developing teacher's training materials with 'Eklavya' in Hoshangabad (M. P.) and later taught in a school in Delhi. He has also been active with a number of organisations working in the field of education, social communication and community development.

Charu Rekha
Charu Rekha is an academic with a love for literature, drama and music. Trained as an English teacher at the Central Institute of Education, she has an M.Phil. degree in English. She taught at the Vasant Valley School for 14 years. Out of these, she worked for 6 years as the Head of Department of English. While pursuing her Bachelors degree at St. Stephen's College Delhi, she was active in the field of theatre at college. Besides this, all through her years at the Maharaja Sayaji Rao University of Baroda where she did her M.A. and M.Phil, she performed in plays directed by leading theatre personalities. She has a wide experience of developing content related to the teaching of English and has written textbooks for three prominent publishers in Delhi and Chennai. Besides this, she has developed digital content for language learning as well. She has worked in the field of television and the print media, besides holding drama workshops at the school and university levels.

Being a leader, she has a wide-range of experience in internal control systems, audits, creative problem solving abilities and having financial know-how, that has been applied in past for organizational growth and improving bottom lines.

Inderjeet Kaur
Inderjeet Kaur has 15 years of executive administration experience. At Learn Today, Inderjeet handles routine office administration to ensure smooth functioning of the office and smooth communication among members. Maintains office systems and ensures that the knowledge bank of Learn Today is up-to-date. Manages professional database of auditors, curriculum developers and trainers. Inderjeet plays a key role in organizing various events that Learn Today hosts. Inderjeet has worked with USEFI and Embassy of Israel earlier.

Arindam Das
Arindam brings to the Learn Today team a wealth of experience having spent 12 years in the Administrative and Finance systems of national and international corporations. In particular, the 4 years he spent with the British Council were instrumental in developing an abiding interest and valuable understanding of the needs and requirements of setting up educational systems of quality. Arindam balances the academic expertise of the rest of the team with his understanding of corporate administrative systems and modernizing the education sector.

Yukti Pahwa, is a Developmental Psychologist from Lady Irwin College and has been in field of research and education for over five years. She holds specialization in childhood disability. She has worked as a researcher with organizations including The World Bank, Global Development Network and National Council of Educational Research and Training. She has worked with digital LEARNING Magazine for over two years as a researcher and has good working knowledge of media in context of 'ICT and Education.' She has worked with various sectors including corporate, government sector, school education sector, higher education sector, skill development and vocational training, and Non Governmental Organizations.
